As they did with the first two Death Note live action films, Viz Pictures, an affiliate of VIZ Media, LLC, that focuses on Japanese live-action film distribution, has announced that it will team with NCM Fathom to present Death Note: L, Change the World in a limited two-night, multi-city event on April 29th and 30th. Best of all, due to viewer demand, the subtitled version will be shown first with an English-dubbed version (in which L’s voice is played by Alessandro Juliani from the anime series) screening the following night.
“Fathom’s ongoing relationship with VIZ Pictures has brought the best in live-action manga events to Fathom-networked theatres and will bring the anxiously awaited third event in the Death Note series to select theatres in April,” said Dan Diamond, vice president of Fathom
Tickets for this special event will be available online or at participating theatre box offices. For a complete list of locations, visit FathomEvents.com. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on March 23rd; however, subscribers to the Shonen Jump newsletter will be able to secure seats beginning March 20th.
